Pay rate: £12.72 per hour

Contracts: Part-time, Permanent

Working Hours: 24 hours per week across 3 days on a 7-day rota basis. Between 8.00am-6.00pm

The Black Country Living Museum is seeking a Visitor Services Team Member to join the Admissions & Business Reception team. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Museum’s front line and be part of a dynamic team at the heart of our visitor experience. You’ll greet visitors, contractors and business guests, and ensure that from the moment they step through our museum doors, they receive a warm, welcoming and inclusive experience.

What will you be doing?

  • Greeting and welcoming visitors.
  • Checking, scanning, and selling tickets.
  • Ensuring the welcome centre is tidy and well-presented at all times.
  • Handling face-to-face admissions queries.
  • Helping customers navigate the museum.
  • Receiving deliveries and managing incoming and outgoing post.
  • Responding to visitor enquiries in person, by telephone and email, ensuring timely and professional responses.
  • Operating the Museums Admissions systems.
