Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service to national and international group travel clients by creating and selling bespoke itineraries.
- Manage the full group travel journey, ensuring a seamless experience from initial enquiry through to arrival.
- Drive visitor numbers and revenue by converting enquiries into bookings and identifying opportunities to upsell.
- Build and maintain relationships with coach operators, travel agencies, tour organisers and tourism partners.
- Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities to grow our group travel offering.
- Collaborate with teams across the Museum to deliver exceptional visitor experiences.
- Maintain accurate booking records and sales data to support performance and growth.
- Gather and act on customer feedback to continuously enhance our group travel offer.
- Support the development and promotion of new group products, experiences and packages.
- Represent the Museum at trade shows, networking events, familiarisation visits and industry events, promoting our unique offer to new and existing audiences.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience in sales or business development, ideally within tourism or hospitality.
- Experience managing a sales pipeline and converting leads into business.
- Excellent customer service skills, particularly via telephone and email communication.
- Confident IT skills with the ability to use booking or ticketing systems.
- A positive, proactive, and solution-focused approach to work.

Salary: £20,000 - £22,000 per annum (FTE £30,000 - £33,000 per annum). Hours: Part-time, Monday - Friday, 9:30am - 2:30pm. Contract: Fixed-term for 6 months, with possibility of extension based on business needs.
