We have a fantastic opportunity for Support Workers to join our team. We have a number of vacancies available across all of our sites, with a range of different hours available on either a contracted or casual basis. Within Black Country Housing Group, we have a Supported Living Service that is made up of four services within Dudley and Wolverhampton, providing support to adults with learning difficulties and complex needs in their own environment.

Supported Living are currently recruiting for Support Workers who can deliver a person-centred approach to care whilst promoting independence.

The main purpose of the role is to:

  • Support customers with a range of activities such as cleaning, cooking, and supporting within the community
  • Support with attending appointments, assistance with medication and personal care along with activities in their homes

Skills and Experience required if you want to become our Support Worker:

  • Experience of working with learning disabilities and complex needs would be beneficial, but is not essential, as training will be provided
  • A full UK driving licence will be required for this role
  • Must be able to work bank holidays and weekends
  • You will work on a rota basis and will need to be flexible, as some of our customers require support throughout the day and night
  • The post holder will be subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure check and a six-month probation period
