We have a fantastic opportunity for a Multi-Trade Operative to join our team. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis in return for a competitive salary of £34,124.58 per annum working 40 hours per week. There is also the opportunity to earn up to an additional £1328 per annum in call out payments. Black Country Homeforce is our in-house building maintenance team that operates throughout Birmingham and the Black Country. Homeforce are responsible for delivering over £2 million worth of disabled adaptations, responsive repairs and planned maintenance such as replacement kitchens and bathrooms as well as other domestic works. The successful applicant will be responsible for the co-ordination of materials and plant in order to maximise the effectiveness of building maintenance work undertaken. The work will involve all aspects of the repair process from the initial receipt of a general works order to satisfactory completion of works on site Specific tasks of the role include, but are not limited to:  – To execute works in accordance with trade qualifications and assist other trade operatives to fulfil their work orders – Ensure works completed are to the highest standard and are correctly completed first time as reasonably practicable – Participate as a multi skilled operative in the delivery of an effective out of hours’ emergency repair service on a rota system – Ensure all KPI's are met including productivity levels, quality of work, 'right first time', recalls and appointments kept. This list is not exhaustive – To ensure that BCHG’s Core Values and Strategic Objectives are actively promoted and worked to at all times Skills and Experience required if you want to become our Multi Trade Operative: – Required to work evenings, weekends, bank holidays and an out-of-hours rota (additional pay) – Experience in fitting kitchens/bathrooms  – Hold a NVQ or C&G level 3 and a second trade related qualification – Must have a full UK manual driving license – The post holder will be subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure check and a six month probation period – All staff will expected to follow our values  About Us: BCHG is proud to be recognised as a Times top 100 Company in The Midlands.
