Job Overview: Work within the Trust's Urgent Care services, delivering a 24/7 Mental Health Liaison Service at Walsall Manor Hospital. Support and assess individuals experiencing mental health crises, self-harm, or suicidal ideation. Provide follow-up support for inpatients with complex mental health needs and advise clinical colleagues on mental health issues. Contribute to service improvements and adhere to NICE guidelines and the Core 24 model.
Main Duties:
- Conduct evidence-based mental health and risk assessments for patients at Walsall Manor Hospital.
- Respond promptly to referrals from the ED, medical units, and wards.
- Develop comprehensive care plans for patients, coordinating with local mental health services.
