My client is an award‑winning PR agency based in the heart of the Northern Quarter, Manchester. They are looking for a proven, B2B PR Account Director with exceptional people and client‑management and relationship‑building skills to join their team. You’ll be responsible for your own portfolio of B2B accounts (with occasional consumer clients) in the built‑environment, manufacturing, home interiors and industrial sectors, with ultimate responsibility for their success, retention and growth. Their fast‑growing client base ranges from cutting‑edge business scale‑ups to national companies across both private and not‑for‑profit sectors. Working logistics – 1 day from home a week (after you’ve settled in to work from home comfortably). The other four days are likely to be in the office, at client’s offices, or out and about at events. Open to more hybrid working if it’s required for a particular reason.
Qualifications & Responsibilities
- You’re a strategic consultant capable of devising PR strategies and campaigns that deliver real business results.
- You’re great at building relationships; a trusted partner to your clients and experienced in coaching teams to ensure they are delivering quality results consistently.
- You’re happy to work on client accounts – leading our teams of account managers and executives to delivering the very best outcomes for our clients.
- You’re proactive and persistent in your approach.
- You’re considerate and supportive; a real team player with the ability to remain calm and considered when faced with new or pressurised situations.
- You have a passion for business development and want to bring on board new clients you’re passionate about – working with the managing director and associate director to convert these clients.
