My client is a well-respected global PR agency who is looking to expand their B2B/Corporate PR offering with the appointment of either Senior Account Executive, Account Manager or Senior Account Manager for its Manchester team. They are looking for a capable and confident operator, who is well organised and adaptable, with good attention to detail and the ability to drive/manage client accounts.
Candidates should have a PR agency background and have proven PR skills and competencies with a results-driven approach. The role will involve the execution of the strategies and activities as directed by senior team members ensuring that programmes and objectives are being adhered to. Problem solving as required and demonstrating innovative thinking to achieve the best results for the client. This role will have direct reports so people management is preferable.
Required Skills:
- Media proactive management of a network of good media and social media contacts
- Sell in press releases and news angles to secure coverage
- Identification of news angles/trends and opportunities to deliver coverage and inform campaign activities
- Negotiate and oversee promotional activity e.g. advertorials, competitions, sponsorships etc.
- Understand and advise on all media handling
- Digital and social media expertise
