Mobile Maintenance Electrical (Commercial) Head Office Location: Telford, Shropshire (this position is a mobile role covering the West Midlands region - no working away)

Our client is a successful and fast-growing Facilities Management and MEP Projects company operating across the UK.

With a strong track record in delivering Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) projects ranging in value from £1 million to £10 million, they offer innovative, high-quality solutions to clients in the industrial, commercial, and educational sectors.

Our client's customers include Marstons, Mitchells and Butlers, Whitbread, and many others in sectors such as: Hospitality, Care, Leisure & more.

As part of their continued growth, our client are now seeking an experienced and proactive Maintenance Electrician to join their team.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role within a company that values quality, collaboration, and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and reactive electrical maintenance tasks, including: Emergency repairs, installation, testing and PPM works, remedial works
  • Carry out basic fire alarm works including: Investigation, repairs and testing
  • Utilise the CAFM System Big Change to manage and document all maintenance activities, through accurate records of work completed and materials used.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate and communicate well with other team members and departments to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client concerns and queries promptly.
  • Participate in a call out rota to provide emergency support.

Qualifications and Skills Required

  • Minimum NVQ Level 3
  • 18th Edition Regulations
  • Experience working within Facilities Maintenance
  • Experience working within the commercial industry
  • IPAF
  • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel UK-wide.
  • Ability to use digital CAFM systems (Big Change and other client portals such as Verisae. Training is provided for all systems if no previous experience)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Travel, Assets & Further information

This is a mobile maintenance position and therefore whilst we aim to keep each engineer as near to home as possible, travel throughout your region is expected up to 2 hours.

Further travel may be requested on rare occasions due to absences / emergencies.

On call Rota runs Monday – Monday. You'll get a bonus + overtime rate.

Company assets you'll be given include: A company vehicle, fuel card, Tablet / PDA for completion of all paperwork, ladders, any testing equipment required, PPE and uniform.
