Our client is a successful and fast-growing Facilities Management and MEP Projects company operating across the UK. With a strong track record in delivering Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) projects ranging in value from £1 million to £10 million, they offer innovative, high-quality solutions to clients in the industrial, commercial, and educational sectors.
As part of their continued growth, our client are now seeking an experienced and proactive Commercial Gas Engineer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role within a company that values quality, collaboration, and professional development.
Role Overview: Our client are Facilities Maintenance Contractors, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance with commercial and retail clients across the UK. We are recruiting for a Commercial Gas Engineer to join an existing maintenance team. Please note this is a Mobile Maintenance role.
In addition to gas works, the successful candidate will also be expected to carry out a range of plumbing maintenance work. Working within this maintenance team provides exciting opportunities to use a wide range of skills each day, in new and challenging environments.
Our client's customers include Marstons, Mitchells and Butlers, Whitbread, and many others in sectors such as: Hospitality, Care, Leisure & more. The role will require work experience in the following areas:
- Boiler Servicing & Maintenance in a commercial industry
- Boiler Replacements
- Heating Controls
- Plumbing

- Core Domestic Gas Safety CCN1
- Core Commercial Gas Safety COCN 1
- A full manual driving license with no more than 3 points
- Previous experience operating in a similar role.
- The ability to work on their own and use initiative in problem solving
- The ability to interact with clients professionally and with strong communication

Travel, Assets & Further information:
- This is a mobile maintenance position and therefore whilst our client aims to keep each Engineer as near to home as possible, travel throughout your region is expected up to 2 hours. Further travel may be requested on rare occasions due to absences / emergencies.
- On call Rota, Monday – Monday. Bonus + overtime rate.
