Job Description
We're currently recruiting an Accounts Assistant position for a freight specialist company.\\nRole location – Manchester Airport\\nWorking hours – Monday to Friday 09:00-17:30 (full time, permanent)\\nSalary details – £28,000 – £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)\\nDuties and responsibilities:\\n * Passing purchase invoices against accruals in DataFreight\\n * Uploading and transferring Purchase and Sales invoices from DataFreight into SAGE 200\\n * Checking deferment statements.\\n * Maintenance of system data and its integrity\\n * Promoting Health & Safety\\n * To assist Accounts with the above activities\\n * Ensuring all tasks are undertaken and completed in a timely and accurate manner\\n * Any other reasonable request to support business requirements\\nRole requirements:\\n * Must be computer literate including MS Office, email, SAGE 200 spreadsheets and databases\\n * Self-managing with good attention to detail\\n * Methodical and thorough approach to work\\n * Highly organised with the ability to remain focussed under pressure\\n * Ability to multi-task and juggle priorities to meet requirements\\n * Ability to adhere to processes\\n * Flexible – a “team player”\\n * Previous accounts experience is essential\\n * Using Database systems (desired)\\n * Working within a fast-paced environment\\nIf you're an experienced Accounts Assistant who's looking for an exciting job opportunity within a friendly accounts team, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV
