We are currently hiring for multiple positions as a Fire and Security Installer due to our continued growth and success. This is a highly rewarding opportunity offering great benefits and career development.
About The Role
As a Fire and Security Installer, you will be covering the Barrow-in-Furness area. Occasional travel further afield may be required. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and commissioning fire and security systems while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
What We’re Looking For
- Candidates with Electronic Security and Life Safety Systems in an NSI Gold accredited company.
- Proven expertise in the installation and commissioning of Fire & Security Systems, including Remote Monitoring.
- Ability to conduct maintenance and fault finding to a high standard across various system types.
- High level of technical knowledge on systems such as Honeywell, Menvier, Texecom, Paxton, Videx, C-Tec, Advanced, Morley, Hikvision, Hanwa, and Avigilon.
- Strong IT, networking, electrical, and electronic skills.
- Availability for inclusion in the 24-hour call-out rota.
Additional Skills & Requirements
- Ability to work independently while being an excellent team player.
- Ability to pass security screening (BS7858:2009), DBS, and police checks.
- Good judgment and decision-making skills under tight deadlines.
- Strong organisation and planning skills.
- Effective stock control management for your company vehicle.
- Commitment to health & safety policies.
- Accurate completion of audit paperwork and job sheets (manual and electronic).
- Clean driving licence.
- Adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Represent Black Box Security as a professional company ambassador.
- Maintain and develop strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
