The predicted salary is between 29970 - 36483 Β£ per year.
To provide high-quality, recovery-focused nursing care within inpatient or community services on behalf of the Trust. The post holder will work as part of the multidisciplinary team (MDT) to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for service users with complex mental health needs, ensuring safety, dignity, and therapeutic engagement at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care in line with the NMC Code and Trust policies.
- Undertake comprehensive mental health assessments and risk assessments (including self-harm, suicide, violence, and safeguarding risks).
- Develop, implement, and review person-centred care plans.
- Administer and manage medication, including depot injections, in accordance with Trust protocols.
- Monitor physical health needs and escalate concerns appropriately.
- Respond effectively to crisis situations, including de-escalation and management of challenging behaviours.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse valid NMC registration.
- Minimum 6 months recent NHS mental health experience.
- Experience working in acute inpatient, PICU, forensic, or community settings.
- Competent in risk assessment and management.
