The buzzing Canva London campus features several buildings around beautiful leafy Hoxton Square in Shoreditch. While our global headquarters is in Sydney, Australia, London is our HQ for Europe, with all kinds of teams based here, plus event spaces to gather our team and communities. As the GTM Recruiter, you will develop meaningful relationships with stakeholders to understand Canva's continually evolving Product organisation. You will own the hiring efforts for our Sales, Customer Success and other specialised roles within our GTM teams. You will develop creative recruiting strategies while focusing on global sourcing, diversity hiring, and innovative approaches to engaging passive candidates.

You will be passionate about delivering an exceptional candidate experience and act as the primary advocate for candidates, leading them through the recruiting and interviewing process and connecting them to the magic of working at Canva.

You will be the subject matter expert partnering with the business to continuously educate us on the what, where, and how of sourcing strategies, including market data, trends, and the best sourcing channels to engage top talent. You will pioneer and lead the usage of new tools for talent mapping, candidate nurturing, and building market intelligence to share with the Canva teams.

At the moment, this role is focused on:

  • Hiring Strategies: Work with your key stakeholders to develop a proactive hiring and sourcing strategy and to understand the core role requirements for GTM roles.
  • Sourcing: You will be responsible for developing and executing on sourcing strategies that deliver the strongest results and make sure we're bringing top talent into the GTM teams. Identifying top talent through a variety of passive channels including bespoke country social platforms, market research, Boolean, referrals, events, and sourcing campaigns. Think creatively about reinventing the way we identify top talent.
  • Full life-cycle recruiting: You will get to own the recruiting process from start to finish, sourcing, interviewing, and hiring top talent.
  • Hire the best: Your focus will be on hiring quality candidates with agility and speed. We regularly do Global searches to find the best talent for Canva.
  • Partner with your hiring managers: You will work closely with your hiring managers to gain a deeper understanding of how each role fits into Canva.
  • Obsess about candidate experience: At Canva we care deeply about our People. Our candidate experience isn't anything different. You are well-spoken on the phone and articulate over emails. You can effectively share the Canva story, vision and culture and act as a brand ambassador.
  • Data-driven: You are always trying to improve our hiring process and you will think with a data-first approach.
