Partly is connecting the world's parts by building the AI infrastructure layer for the global repair industry. Partly's foundation model, Interpreter, is the world's first AI purpose-built to understand vehicle damage and the parts needed to fix it. This role is a product-builder position where you own a product surface end to end: you talk to the customer, form the idea, build it, ship it, measure it, and decide what happens next. You'll build at the centre of a multi-trillion-dollar industry that still runs on phone calls, spreadsheets, and tribal knowledge. Replacement parts is one of the largest physical markets on earth and one of the least digitised, and there is no established playbook to copy. Partly is creating the category.

Your responsibilities include:

• Build, not just specify: Prototype new product iterations yourself using AI-assisted and LLM-assisted tooling, treat the prototype as the hypothesis and put it in front of real customers before writing the spec.
• Stay close to customers: Spend time where the work happens to understand what estimators, parts managers, and others actually do.
• Reconcile signal: Combine observations with data insights and turn that understanding into what you build next.
• Own the outcome: Steer by your surface's metrics; adoption and value delivered are yours.
• Make the trade-off: Weigh product impact against engineering effort and find the cheaper path to the same outcome.
• Build the agentic experience: Move your surface from manual operation toward supervised delegation.
• Hold the craft: Ensure the surface feels fast, clear, and considered.
• Raise the bar: Pair with SW Engineers on the harder systems work behind your surface.

Your skills should include:

• You ship end to end: a track record of taking features from idea to production.
• Genuine customer obsession: a habit of spending time with users in their work context.
• Product taste and craft: experiences that feel effortless to non-technical users.
• A point of view on agentic product design.
• Ability to build rapid prototypes using AI-assisted tools.
• Solid full-stack engineering with a frontend lean.
• Trade-off fluency: weighing product impact against engineering effort.
• Strong analytical instinct: defining metrics and acting on them.
• Ability to operate well in ambiguity and autonomy.

Strong signals we look for include:

• Shipped AI-assisted or agent-driven features in production.
• Built for a multi-persona, operational, or workflow-heavy B2B product.
• Founder background or early employee at a startup that scaled materially.
• Experience in killing or radically changing something you personally believed in.

Bonus skills include domain knowledge in automotive, the parts aftermarket, repair, or insurance claims.
