Brief overview of this role:
We are looking for a new Commercial Account Executive to join our London team, which will enable Sitemate to capitalise on existing inbound demand and organic growth within our mid-market segment (companies with 100-999 employees).
This role would be great for you if you have experience in SaaS or tech new business sales and a track record of managing pipeline and your quota attainment. Maybe you’re looking for a lift in your remuneration, or you’re tired of excessively high quota targets where you’re expected to source 100% of your own leads. Maybe you’re looking to join a smaller team without corporate politics and controls – this role would be perfect for you.
You will have opportunities such as joining the founding commercial sales team, with direct exposure to and engagement from GTM leadership, the CEO and the product team. In the next 2-3 years there will be opportunities galore for people who join to catapult their career.

- OTE Remuneration (incl. pension): GBP ÂŁ109,000 – 120,000
- Base Salary (incl. pension): GBP ÂŁ64,000 – 70,000
- Commission (incl. pension): GBP ÂŁ45,000 – 50,000
What will I be doing day to day in this role?
- You will be receiving qualified inbound leads automatically booked on your calendar from an SDR.
- You will be spending most of your time with prospects across phone calls, emails and zoom/teams meetings, as well as internal tools like slack and salesforce.
- There will be face-to-face meetings with clients, expect there to be between 3-5 instances of travel per month.
- Your quota is measured by net new MRR/ARR closed per quarter.
What will be the biggest challenges for me in this role?
- Learning about the built world if you haven’t had any exposure to it – there are a lot of different types of companies and plenty of new terminologies to learn.
- Up-skilling your call/phone and email skills – although we have plenty of examples for you to learn from during your onboarding.
- Understanding SaaS financial acronyms and common terminology – if you have not worked in a SaaS company before, there is going to be a lot of metrics to learn.
- Learning how to use Salesforce.
- You’ll be reporting to the Director of Go-to-Market, and working directly with Sitemate’s CEO, Revenue Operations, and founding team. We move very quickly, so you’ll need to be excited to come in and learn extremely fast.

It looks like Sitemate works in industrial verticals like construction and renewable energy, do I need to have industry experience in these areas in order to be successful?
Definitely not! Our last three new team members have come from Tourism, Online Gaming and Hospitality. We will provide the necessary training and systems to learn about the different industries we work in, and there are multiple team members internally who are from our customer’s industries.
