The Refuse and Recycling Team are looking to appoint a positive and enthusiastic crew member to work as part of a large team delivering a first-class waste collection service to the residents of Blaby District. Working from our modern and well-equipped depot, you will be provided with the necessary work wear to prepare you for working outside in all weather conditions.
As you will be representing the council out in the district, you will also need to be courteous and good natured with the public and your colleagues and be able to demonstrate this consistently. The role will require you to have the physical ability to walk long distances for long parts of the day and to manoeuvre heavy containers of household waste and large bulky items, as is your willingness to work safely and responsibly.
