With 40 years of experience and a growing team of over 100, we're ambitious and looking for someone to join our journey. This role offers the chance to make a real impact on our business direction and client strategy. You'll work closely with George Baker to provide top-tier advisory services and training on international customs and trade matters.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain in-depth technical knowledge of customs and trade regulations.
- Continuously learn and expand your expertise in this ever-evolving field.
- Lead research and advisory projects for clients, ensuring exceptional service.
- Leverage your commercial acumen to cultivate your own client portfolio and secure new business.
- Contribute strategically to leadership meetings, marketing plans, and company development.
- Effectively manage your time while juggling projects, client meetings, and internal tasks.
- Attend client and internal management meetings, including monthly trips to HQ in the East of England.
Who You Are:
- Client-focused and commercially aware, with a passion for building strong relationships.
- An outstanding communicator, both verbally and in writing.
- A proficient project manager with a knack for juggling internal, external, and administrative needs.
- An expert in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree or equivalent industry experience.
- Solid understanding of import/export procedures, trade practices, and documentation.
- Experience handling customs special procedures applications.
- Proficiency in classification and interpreting rules of origin.
- Proven experience in public service, consulting, or logistics (with a focus on international trade, customs, and excise) is highly desirable.
- Full UK driving license.
