At BKN301, we build fintech solutions that enable banks, fintechs, and merchants to grow and innovate across emerging markets.
We’re a London-based financial technology group, with offices in Milan (Italy), Doha (Qatar), and San Marino, and an international footprint that’s rapidly expanding.
We move fast, think globally, and act as one team — transforming ideas into real, scalable fintech solutions every day.
Why Join Us
Joining BKN301 means becoming part of a fast-growing international fintech, where technology and people evolve together.
Here, every idea counts: you’ll have a tangible impact on strategic projects, learn continuously, and help build something meaningful from the ground up.
You’ll join a company that values each person’s contribution, gives space to experiment, and promotes an open approach to innovation — because our success comes from the people who make it possible.
Your Role
As a Planning & Controlling Analyst, you’ll be the Planning & Controlling Manager’s closest collaborator — driving financial reporting, budgeting, pricing and business cases across BKN301’s core business lines. You’ll develop a strong grasp of BaaS and fintech economics, push back on the numbers before they land in front of management, and harness AI tools to sharpen both the speed and quality of your work.
A few examples of your responsibilities
- Contribute to periodic reporting on volumes, transactions and revenues — tracking YoY trends and budget variances, and automating recurring tasks with AI tools.
- Support the review of each group company’s financial statements, their management reclassification and the build-up of the consolidated group view, including intercompany eliminations.
- Maintain and update budgets and rolling forecasts by business line, keeping key drivers current — active cards, spending, BaaS clients and usage, mix and rates.
- Analyse each business line’s economics and support pricing reviews with partner banks and clients — covering interchange, scheme fees, processing costs and BaaS revenues and costs to serve.
- Build business plans and investment cases for new fintech products, from driver modelling through to break-even analysis.
- Prepare numbers and materials for board, investors and management — including due diligence and fundraising support.
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of experience in financial planning & analysis, controlling, or a related finance role.
- Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Industrial/Management Engineering or a related field.
- Advanced Excel skills: complex formulas, lookups, pivot tables, driver-based models with scenarios and sensitivities — clean and auditable files.
- Solid accounting foundations: ability to read financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow), management reclassification and basics of group consolidation.
- Practical experience using AI tools to automate and speed up analysis, reporting and checks.
- Executive-level PowerPoint skills: ability to turn numbers into a clear, compelling message for board and investors.
- Comfort working with large transactional datasets.
- Genuine interest in the fintech sector.
Nice to Have
- Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CFA) completed or in progress.
- Knowledge of SQL or Power BI.
- Prior experience in payments, BaaS or fintech economics.
- Background in consulting, investment banking or a fast-paced international environment.
Soft Skills That Make a Difference
- Critical thinking and a strong sense of ownership.
- Proactivity and problem-solving attitude.
- Curiosity and adaptability in a fast-moving environment.
- Clear and concise communication, including with senior stakeholders.
- Team spirit and collaborative mindset.
- Accountability and attention to detail.
What We Offer
- Hybrid working model based in London.
- Permanent, full-time contract.
- A fair and market-aligned compensation.
- Dynamic, international culture built on trust and collaboration.
- Real impact on global fintech transformation projects.
- Growth and learning opportunities within an innovative group.

Every hiring process is a chance for mutual learning and growth.
