About the Team
You’ll be joining our Tax Transaction team, a group of 7 within that team, in a department of 106. The team works closely with 4 Partners and 2 Directors supporting them with bespoke tax advisory projects across a range of different tax areas including corporation tax, private client tax and other taxes which may be incidental to a piece of advice. The team mainly advises large owner-managed businesses, high net worth individuals and high growth businesses. We pride ourselves on being collaborative, commercially focused, and technically minded and offer exposure to a diverse client base, interesting problem-solving opportunities, progression routes, cross-team projects.

How You’ll Make a Difference
- Pre and post-deal Structuring: Develop and implement tax‑efficient structures for mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
- Demergers: Develop and implement tax‑efficient methods for the demerger of assets or companies from single entities or groups of companies.
- Group reorganisations: Work with clients to understand their requirements to suggest the best possible group structure to enable the ringfencing of risk within a group, including the insertion of a holding company.
