What you'll do
- Lead the quality control efforts on-site, ensuring adherence to industry standards and company policies throughout all phases of project execution.
- Develop and implement quality assurance protocols and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and product reliability.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of materials, processes, and finished products to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with specifications.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to communicate quality expectations and resolve any issues that arise during construction.
- Train and mentor team members on quality control practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Analyze quality data and prepare detailed reports for management, highlighting trends, issues, and recommendations for corrective actions.
- Coordinate with external regulatory bodies and clients to ensure that all quality standards are met and maintained.
- Manage the documentation of quality control processes, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and corrective action plans.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance within the mechanical engineering sector.
- Proven experience in managing quality control processes on construction sites or manufacturing facilities.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems (QMS) and relevant industry standards (ISO, ASME, etc.).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficient in using quality control tools and software, including statistical analysis software and inspection equipment.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction and engineering environments.
