Management Accountant
Working with the CFO, the Management Accountant will support the delivery of robust financial information from across the portfolio in addition to developing the function to partner with key stakeholders.
Brief Job Description
- Responsibility for month end close
- Management accounts production with analysis and commentary to present to senior management and respond to any queries
- Monthly full balance sheet reconciliations of all accounts
- Managing the purchase ledger and accounts team on a day-to-day basis
- Weekly cash reporting
- Banking, processing payments
- Payroll journals and reconciliations of accounts to payroll reports
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
- Pulling year-end/statutory accounts data together for auditors
- Assisting with integration of new acquisitions into the business – ensuring processes are standardised
- Improving processes, procedures – continuous improvement minded
- Any ad‑hoc reports and requests for analysis, additional queries and information
Requirements for the role
- Be a Fully Qualified ACA/ACCA/ACMA/CIMA
- Open to first move from practice into industry
- Open to industry candidates looking to join a fast‑paced organisation
- Have a track record of strong stakeholder management
- Show good communication skills
- Possess excellent Excel knowledge and capability
- Demonstrate drive and ambition (huge growth forecast)
