The Compliance Administrator will support the effective delivery of the firm’s compliance, governance, and regulatory obligations across the group. The role is operational and administrative in nature, providing structured support across AML, GDPR, Fit & Proper (F&P), ECCTA and training frameworks, while acting as a key liaison between Compliance, HR, Operations, and local offices. This role is critical in ensuring compliance processes are consistently applied, accurately tracked, and appropriately evidenced.
The role will include but not be limited to the following:
- Administer Fit & Proper processes, including annual declarations and checks for staff, new joiners, acquisitions, and third parties
- Support compliance onboarding for new joiners, offices, and acquired entities (AML, GDPR, ECCTA, training)
- Provide administrative support for AML, GDPR, and wider regulatory compliance, including annual returns
- Coordinate mandatory compliance training and maintain audit-ready records
- Administer compliance systems and support supplier management
- Support governance, monitoring, reporting, and compliance projects
- Prepare compliance meeting materials and support internal communications
Requirements for the role:
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and conflicting deadlines
- Confident communicator, able to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
- Comfortable working with compliance systems, trackers, and documentation
- Methodical and process-driven
- Discreet and trustworthy when handling confidential information
The following are desirable but not essential:
- Experience within an accountancy or regulated professional services firm
- Knowledge of AML, GDPR, ECCTA, or Fit & Proper requirements
- Experience supporting audits, inspections, or regulatory submissions
- Familiarity with compliance tools such as SmartSearch or similar platforms
