We are looking for an Accounts Graduate to join our team in February 2025. As a Trainee Accountant you will provide support to both internal staff and external clients. Part of your role will involve assisting in the day-to-day financial activities, these will include but are not limited to data entry, month end VAT Returns and accounts preparation and year-end financial accounts and tax returns.
Brief Job Description
- Bookkeeping and data processing in accounts software, such as Sage, Xero, Quickbooks etc.
- Assist with the preparation of VAT returns
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements
- Assist with the preparation of accounts
- Liaison with clients to build a rapport on an ongoing basis when completing work
- Carrying out bookkeeping activities including journal postings and ledger reconciliations
- Ensuring completed work is accurate and professionally presented to senior members of staff.
- Be responsible for helping to service clients and keeping clients up to date on the progress of jobs, helping to resolve queries effectively and to the client’s satisfaction.
- To undertake other tasks as required by senior staff which are required to either enhance client service or improve working practices.
