We are seeking a Client Manager to join our team based in Cheltenham. Your role as a Client Manager will be to manage a diverse portfolio of clients, support junior members of the team as well as office growth.

Brief Job Description

  • Managing a portfolio of corporate and personal tax clients, acting as the primary point of contact.
  • Reviewing year-end statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders, ensuring compliance with UK accounting standards.
  • Reviewing corporation tax computations and returns prior to submission.
  • Reviewing personal tax returns for accuracy and completeness.
  • Providing detailed feedback to Accounts Technicians and junior team members to support development and maintain quality standards.
  • Identifying training needs within the team and assisting with mentoring and technical support where appropriate.
  • Ensuring statutory accounts and tax returns are submitted in line with Companies House and HMRC deadlines.
  • Dealing with client queries via phone, email and in person where required.
  • Holding regular client meetings to review financial performance, discuss tax matters and identify planning opportunities.
  • Identifying and pitching additional services to existing and prospective clients.
  • Working collaboratively with other managers and team members to meet departmental and firm-wide targets.
  • Liaising with the Outsourcing and Management Accounts team to ensure delivery of a complete service to larger clients.
  • Working alongside Advisory and Specialist teams within the Group to identify opportunities and support wider advisory projects.
  • Monitoring workflow and managing deadlines across your client portfolio.
