We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Associate to join our team based in Brighton. As an Accounts Associate your role will involve:
- Financial administration - Electronic Document Management and Hard copy filing
- Companies House - Filing client documents with the Registrar of Companies
- Bookkeeping using Sage Accounting, Xero and Excel and preparing client books from source documents
- Completing and filing VAT returns on behalf of clients
- Audit - Support Audit department in preparation of file
- Be a member of the audit teams which go on client site audit visits
- Client Liaison - Communicating with clients by telephone and email regarding their accounting matters
- Supporting with general office duties including meeting and greeting office visitors and clients
The Ideal Accounts Associate will:
- Have at least 1 year’s experience working in an Accountancy firm
- Have a minimum of 5 GCSEs A-C but preferably A level qualified
- Be a professional individual with good attention to detail
- Have software experience including Xero/Sage, Excel, Word and Outlook
- Be a good communicator both orally and in writing
