Senior Accountant

We are looking for a motivated Senior Accountant to join our friendly team providing accountancy to a number of clients across various business sectors.

Brief Job Description

• Preparation of statutory year end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Liaising with clients regarding accounts, tax returns and other issues.
• Review of junior accounts staff work and completion for client.
• Management accounts.
• Having a portfolio of self‑assessment and partnership tax returns to complete each year.
• Supporting and guiding junior staff.

Requirements for the role

• Experience of Iris, Xero, QuickBooks and Sage.
• Extensive tax knowledge of all areas of personal and corporate taxation.
• Able to work on own initiative to meet deadlines.
• Friendly and confident manner.
• Able to work as part of a team and alone.
• Must be able to work to tight deadlines and unsupervised.
• Must have 5 years experience within an Accountancy practice.
