We are recruiting a bookkeeper to join our busy office in Keighley. The candidate will be responsible for processing transactions for a portfolio of bookkeeping clients whilst working to deadlines.
Brief Job Description:
- VAT Return preparation
- Filing VAT Returns
- Bank, Sales, Debtor/Creditor, and Purchase ledger reconciliation
- The role may involve some general office administration
- Be able to prepare basic monthly/quarterly management accounts (with supervisor support and review)
Requirements for the role:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper with at least 5 years’ experience in practice
- Experience supporting a team, including 3 years reviewing work
- Proficiency in using accounting software such as Xero, Quickbooks, Sage and Dext
- Understanding of MTD
