We are currently recruiting for a Senior Tax Administrator to join our team based in Birmingham. As a Senior Tax Administrator your role will involve:
- Overseeing all tax compliance work
- Managing the day to day workflow and operation of the tax office ensuring deadlines are met
- Preparing, and reviewing self-assessment tax returns, corporation tax returns and property disposal returns.
- Submission of VAT returns
- Preparing and submission of Making Tax Digital quarterly returns
- Corresponding with HMRC
- Acting as the key contact to clients to provide ongoing support and resolve queries
- Provide support to junior staff, and review junior staff work
- Assisting senior managers with ad hoc tax queries
Requirements for the role:
- Knowledge of UK taxes
- Previous experience preparing and reviewing tax returns
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise tasks
