We are currently recruiting for a Senior Tax Administrator to join our team based in Birmingham. As a Senior Tax Administrator your role will involve:

  • Overseeing all tax compliance work
  • Managing the day to day workflow and operation of the tax office ensuring deadlines are met
  • Preparing, and reviewing self-assessment tax returns, corporation tax returns and property disposal returns.
  • Submission of VAT returns
  • Preparing and submission of Making Tax Digital quarterly returns
  • Corresponding with HMRC
  • Acting as the key contact to clients to provide ongoing support and resolve queries
  • Provide support to junior staff, and review junior staff work
  • Assisting senior managers with ad hoc tax queries

Requirements for the role:

  • Knowledge of UK taxes
  • Previous experience preparing and reviewing tax returns
  • Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise tasks
