We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Associate to join our team based in Brighton.
Brief Job Description
As an Accounts Associate your role will involve
- Financial administration – Electronic Document Management and Hard copy filing.
- Companies House – Filing client documents with the Registrar of Companies.
- Bookkeeping Using Sage Accounting, Xero and Excel and preparing client books from source documents.
- Completing and filing VAT returns on behalf of clients.
- Audit – Support Audit department in preparation of files.
- Be a member of the audit teams which go on client site audit visits.
- Client Liaison Communicating with clients by telephone and email regarding their accounting matters.
- Supporting with general office duties including meeting and greeting office visitors and clients.
Requirements for the role
The Ideal Accounts Associate will
- Have at least 1 years experience working in an Accountancy firm
- Have a Minimum of 5 GCSE’s A-C but preferably A level qualified.
- Professional individual with good attention for detail.
- Software experience would include Xero/Sage, Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Good communicator both oral and written.
