The Role
Responsible for the safe and efficient movement of goods, trailers, and equipment between designated locations, with all routes commencing from the WS10 area. Working closely with operational teams, you will ensure timely transportation of loads while maintaining high standards of safety, professionalism, and compliance.
Main Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods, trailers, and equipment between various sites and customer locations.
- Complete scheduled movements from the WS10 base to designated destinations across the country, ensuring all deliveries and collections are carried out efficiently.
- Conduct daily vehicle and trailer checks and report any defects or maintenance requirements.
- Ensure loads are secured and transported in accordance with company procedures and legal requirements.
- Accurately complete transport documentation and use company systems or devices as required.
- Maintain effective communication with transport teams, site contacts, and management throughout shifts.
- Adhere to all road transport regulations, health and safety requirements, and company policies.
- Keep vehicles clean, presentable, and roadworthy.
- Support operational requirements by undertaking additional transport-related duties when required.
