Legal Counsel - Commercial Remote

Commercial Legal Counsel & DPO (5+PQE) Mainly remote (ad-hoc in-office requirements). Our client is a global network of higher education institutions with campuses across Europe, Asia, and North America. Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements (e.g., IP licenses, service agreements, partnership agreements) with a excellent understanding of data protection issues, and subject access requests. – Collaborate with sales, marketing, and procurement teams to ensure agreements meet commercial and legal standards. – Manage external counsel and corporate service providers. – Handle a diverse workload, including commercial contracts, IP, litigation, and property matters. – Provide corporate and M&A support, with experience in company law (banking/capital markets experience is a bonus). Strong commercial experience, excellent academics, and ability to manage complex matters. –
