Within our Facilities Management division, the small works team plays a crucial role in the day-to-day delivery of planned minor works across a diverse range of properties and systems within our client\’s sites. Position As part of our continued growth, our FM division\’s small works team are looking to appoint an experienced and professional Electrician to use their working knowledge of electrical systems to complete a range of project works – predominantly focusing on power & lighting, fixed wire testing remedial works and new lighting installations. (NOTE: this is a mobile role that will require you to be split across multiple sites in London, Surrey and occasionally Kent – each project will last 2/3 days to a week at a particular site and you will commute to the same site until the project is fully delivered, so you will not be expected to be mobile across multiple sites in one day etc…) Further responsibilities of the role include: Electrical installation works – mainly new lighting installation around fire doors and exits Electrical testing and fault-finding Estimation of small/minor works Organising and arranging materials for additional works Health, Safety and Quality Considerations: To act in the best interests of BJF when on site and dealing with Clients To always work in a safe manner and to a high-standard, in line with best working practices Understand your responsibility for the health, safety and wellbeing of your team and the wider group, whilst promoting a positive health and safety culture throughout Promote and live BJF TEAMS values Requirements To be considered for the role, you will need to demonstrate all of the following: Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installation (2357) Testing & Inspection (2391) 18th Edition Full Classroom Course & IET Wiring Regulations (7671) Full UK Driving License Desirable Qualifications & Experience: A strong commercial and industrial back ground Basic IT skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and Word JIB Gold Card IPAF PASMA EV Charger install experience CompEx 01-04 More About BJF Competitive Salary Annual Leave Entitlement: 33 days per annum (inclusive of bank holidays) Group Pension Scheme: Provided by Royal London to save for your future.
