BJF Group is a leading multi-discipline Main Contractor based across the UK, specialising in delivering high-quality construction projects across various sectors and known for excellence and attention to detail. Within our Facilities Management division, the small works team delivers planned minor works across properties and systems on client sites. We are growing and looking for an experienced Electrician to contribute to project works focused on power & lighting, fixed wire testing remedial works and new lighting installations.

Note: This is a mobile role across multiple sites in London, Surrey and occasionally Kent. Projects typically last 2/3 days to a week at a site, with ongoing commutes to the same site until delivery is complete.

Responsibilities

  • Electrical installation works – mainly new lighting installation around fire doors and exits
  • Electrical testing and fault-finding
  • Estimation of small/minor works
  • Organising and arranging materials for additional works

Health, Safety and Quality

  • Act in the best interests of BJF on site and with clients
  • Work safely and to a high standard, in line with best practices
  • Take responsibility for health, safety and wellbeing of the team and promote a positive safety culture
  • Promote and uphold BJF TEAMS values

Requirements

  • Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installation (2357)
  • Testing & Inspection (2391)
  • 18th Edition Full Classroom Course & IET Wiring Regulations (7671)
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

  • Strong commercial and industrial background
  • Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office Excel and Word)
  • JIB Gold Card
  • IPAF
  • PASMA
  • EV Charger install experience
  • CompEx 01-04
