Within our Facilities Management division, the South East Core team plays a crucial role in the day-to-day delivery of reactive and preventative works across a diverse range of properties and systems within our client\’s sites.

Position
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will form an important part of our Core Engineering team – providing day-to-day delivery of planned, reactive and preventative maintenance across a wide range of different systems, covering multiple locations around the M25.
Reporting directly into the FM Contract Management team, you will regularly liaise with the FM Helpdesk to carry out small works as needed on a broad range of electrical, mechanical and fabrication elements – whilst ensuring that a log of the works is kept in line with contract requirements.
The role would suit an experienced maintenance professional who is looking for a role that can provide variety in both the type of works being delivered as well as the locations of each job – those looking for a client-facing role and with the ability to prioritise and manage their own workload will find the role especially rewarding.
Main responsibilities of the role:
- Working on minor mechanical, electrical and plumbing installations within both commercial and domestic properties
- Maintaining and building strong working relationships with clients, through regular contact and a high level of delivery
- Carrying out planned preventative works as part of the wider maintenance schedule
- Working within Health and Safety requirements at all times
Requirements
To be considered for the role, you will need to demonstrate the following:
- Legionella Awareness
- Building Maintenance Experience
- ECS or CSCS card
Desirable qualifications & experience:
- 18th Edition
- Safety Critical Medical Certificate (in-date)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (especially Word & Outlook)
