As we continue to grow, we are seeking a proactive and driven Mechanical Project Manager to join our M&E division to deliver projects to completion - ensuring they are on time, on budget and to the satisfaction of all parties, exceeding expectations wherever possible.

As a Project Manager at BJF Group, you will provide leadership across the full project lifecycle - identifying and specifying project opportunities from the outset through to delivering contractual commitments on secured projects.
Working closely with the wider M&E team, the Project Manager will also ensure that BJF Group site procedures and processes are in place and operating effectively, with works being delivered to a high level of safety as well as to the required quality standards and specification.
Experience of planning and co-ordinating the delivery of assigned works through the relevant engineering team and supply chain will be key, with the project timelines submitted as part of the bid process needing to be satisfied on time and within budget, all whilst maintaining a focus on organically growing revenue to increase turnover and profitability.
This role will be best suited to an individual with a proven mechanical background, as well as strong stakeholder management to build effective relationships with sub-contractors and the wider BJF support functions, ensuring cost-effective and quality solutions that will maximise opportunities towards favourable business outcomes.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:
- Managing the project phase from design to completion, liaising with contractors, consultants and sub-contractors to ensure successful project delivery.
- Ensure BJF Group and the client's SSOW, H&S policy and procedures are in place and followed (recording accidents / near misses and reported in accordance with BJF Group and clients reporting system).
- Supporting M&E division with incidental works and other new works streams.
- Working with other members of the contract / Division / Business to ensure the collaborative development of the business, effective team working, and support to colleagues.
- Responsible for ensuring all their projects meet the pricing Key Performance Indicators issued by the client.
- Liaison with client representatives and customer to ensure specification of works is correct and client user is updated throughout works.
- Maximise opportunities to use internal supply chain for project delivery.
To be considered for the role, you will need to demonstrate a mix of the following:
- Hold an industry recognised qualification (NVQ or equivalent) in Mechanical trade.
- Demonstratable experience of current industry regulations and legislation.
- Hold an industry recognised H&S management qualification (IOSH or SMSTS).
- Experienced in M&E full-lifecycle project delivery.
- Managerial experience at Supervisor level within a technical background is essential.
