At BJF, we have a fantastic opportunity to join our expanding construction-focused business as an Electrical Engineer to support our Facilities Management Team.

Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Respond to reactive calls, perform first fixes when possible, and scope quotes for repairs when necessary, minimizing downtime.
  • Complete scheduled maintenance tasks according to the program and maintain accurate records of work performed.
  • Ensure the site is maintained in good order both internally and externally, adhering to specifications and completing tasks on time.
  • Operate within all relevant Health and Safety policies and procedures.
  • Proactively promote health and safety practices to mitigate risks.
  • Maintain high standards of customer care and workmanship as this role involves client interaction.
  • Be flexible and undertake additional duties as required by operational needs.
  • Work from a call-out rota when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Experience in planned preventative maintenance and reactive tasks within KPI targets.
  • Perform repairs following a Periodic Electrical Installation Condition Report, including minor works certification.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering.
  • 18th Edition Electrical Certification.
  • 2391 – Testing & Inspection certification.
