At BJF, we have a fantastic opportunity to join our expanding construction-focused business as an Electrical Engineer to support our Facilities Management Team.
Responsibilities of the Role:
- Respond to reactive calls, perform first fixes when possible, and scope quotes for repairs when necessary, minimizing downtime.
- Complete scheduled maintenance tasks according to the program and maintain accurate records of work performed.
- Ensure the site is maintained in good order both internally and externally, adhering to specifications and completing tasks on time.
- Operate within all relevant Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Proactively promote health and safety practices to mitigate risks.
- Maintain high standards of customer care and workmanship as this role involves client interaction.
- Be flexible and undertake additional duties as required by operational needs.
- Work from a call-out rota when necessary.
Requirements:
- Experience in planned preventative maintenance and reactive tasks within KPI targets.
- Perform repairs following a Periodic Electrical Installation Condition Report, including minor works certification.
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering.
- 18th Edition Electrical Certification.
- 2391 – Testing & Inspection certification.
