As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented and experienced Contract Manager with a background in the delivery of both Hard and Soft FM services to bolster our team.

As part of the continued expansion of the South West Projects division, we are seeking an experienced and professional Senior Project Manager to take full ownership for the profitable planning, management and delivery of extra works & projects within our Southwest Facilities Management division.

The post holder will play a key role in managing our relationship with the client - continuing to build on our collaborative approach through regular meetings and updates on project pipelines, as well as taking the time to understand the changing requirements of the client to maximise the profitability of the contract through generating additional opportunities for revenue growth.

The ideal candidate will be a commercially astute, highly experienced project manager who combines strong technical expertise with outstanding people and client management skills. They will have a proven track record of successfully delivering multi-disciplined projects in demanding environments on time, to specification, and within budget while growing revenues and identifying new and organic opportunities.

To be considered for the role, we would like to see a demonstrable mix of the following:

  • Proven track record in Project Management and project delivery with sound technical ability and experience
  • Passionate people manager with exceptional communication skills to deal with ever-changing priorities and demands in sustaining a quality service to the Client
  • Driven, determined & decisive – able to work methodically under pressure in a demanding role and be able to demonstrate sound judgement and foresight, being able to solve problems and show initiative
  • Ability to effectively communicate and liaise with the Client’s teams at all levels providing proactive feedback and leadership
  • Able to solve problems through leveraging experience and expertise from similar work within the industry
  • Commercially aware and capable of estimating and submitting compliant tenders and quotations
  • Familiar with current legislation and implications of statutory requirements regarding Health and Safety, COSHH, CDM and other current regulations
  • Ability to work under demanding conditions in terms of volume of work and level of responsibility in an organised manner whilst providing strong leadership and instilling a sense of professionalism and efficiency to the Projects Team
