CompanyA1 is building a proactive AI smart assistant for everyday users to bring intelligence to conversations, errands, organising and workflows. Our product focuses on achieving high reliability for long-running workflows, persistent context, and real-world task completion. The system must handle multi-step reasoning, interact with external tools, and remain reliable despite non-deterministic model behaviour.
You will operate as an extension of the Founder, turning ideas into execution across hiring, partnerships, fundraising, and market entry. This role tackles the highest-priority initiatives — from shaping UK expansion to closing key hires and building the company’s first operating systems. The scope is intentionally broad.
We’re looking for someone fast, dependable, and able to operate independently in ambiguity.
What You'll be Doing- Work directly with the Founder to drive UK market entry - from early strategy to hands-on execution
- Build and execute initial hiring plans - source, engage, and close high-caliber talent
- Support fundraising efforts - prepare materials, coordinate investor conversations, and follow through
- Help establish A1’s presence in UK - including office setup, vendors, and operating structure
- Drive external positioning - support PR, partnerships, and key relationships
- Turn ambiguous ideas into clear plans, and ensure they get executed
- Act as a central operator across teams - tracking priorities, resolving bottlenecks, and pushing progress
- Handle high-urgency, unstructured problems with speed and sound judgment
- Background in consulting (MBB), top-tier VC, startups, or high-performance operating roles
- Strong generalist - able to switch between strategy, hiring, operations, and execution
- High agency - does not wait for instructions, figures things out and moves
- Strong judgment - able to prioritize what matters and make decisions with incomplete information
- Clear and concise communication - comfortable working with senior stakeholders and external partners
- High reliability - consistently follows through and delivers
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, high-ambiguity environment
