Your Tasks
- Service and install a wide range of Food Production equipment, primarily Slicers, Mincers and associated Software to packaging equipment.
- Some Retail Scale service and repair.
- Investigating technical issues such as electrical/mechanical breakdowns & network related issues.
- Provide customer training on equipment.
- Manage & maintain effective stock levels of parts needed to carry out repairs.
- Project a professional image of the department and company to both internal and external customers.
- Uniform provided.
- Maintain company vehicle in a clean and organized fashion ensuring all maintenance requirements are met in accordance with the policy for company vehicle drivers.
- Maintain a library of backups for customers.
- Maintain in good order all company tools, such as Hand tools, ladders, Laptops etc.
- Attend all Training courses required & ensure that all H & S training is up to date & completed.
- Adhere to policies and procedures relating to Health and Safety and Quality Management.
- Maintain Calibrated weighs & ensure they are compliant.
- When calibrating/verifying equipment, all legal standards are met & work carried out to highest standard.
- Obtain all qualifications Bizerba deem relevant for engineer to carry out day to day duties.
- When required write detailed reports on incidents/calls to assist Line manager.
- Participate in out of hours works when required.
- Ensure all administrative tasks are carried out in time & to standards expected.
- Have a full & legally valid UK driving license.
- Hold a valid Safety Passport/ECS or equivalent – relevant details will be provided.
- Work to company KPI’s & SLA’s.
- Where necessary have overnight stays for training or to complete tasks as requested.
- Participate in rollout and refit activities as requested to fulfil business requirements.
- Attend head office as required in conjunction with business needs.
- Ad-Hoc duties as per request of your line manager or senior management.
