The Senior Editor – FinTech will be the editorial lead for BizClik’s FinTech portfolio, responsible for shaping and delivering high-quality, commercially aligned content across digital, magazine, video and live event platforms. You will work closely with the Editor-in-Chief, commercial teams and event leaders to ensure FinTech content reflects market trends, regulatory change and innovation across banking, payments, digital assets, embedded finance, regtech, insurtech and financial infrastructure.
This is a senior, hands-on role combining editorial leadership with delivery.
Key responsibilities- Magazine and feature content: Plan, commission and write front-of-book features, executive interviews and thought-leadership content for FinTech Magazine. Own quality control, tone and editorial standards across all FinTech magazine output. Work closely with the design team to manage content flow and layout.
- Digital, web and SEO content: Produce and publish daily FinTech news, analysis and insight across web platforms. Identify and pitch SEO-aligned content opportunities across payments, digital banking, AI in finance, regulation, open finance and cyber risk. Maintain and manage the FinTech publishing calendar and use analytics to optimise performance.
- Broadcast and live platforms: Develop and deliver content for video interviews, webinars, podcasts and FinTech event stages. Work with the events team to shape agendas, session narratives and speaker briefing packs. Ensure all content is consistent, authoritative and aligned with the FinTech brand positioning.
- Commercial and media sales content: Collaborate with Sales and Agency teams to deliver branded FinTech content including executive interviews and campaign and partner features. Ensure commercial content meets editorial standards while supporting client and partner objectives.
- Editorial leadership: Manage editorial workflows and deadlines across multiple FinTech projects and platforms. Mentor editors, writers and freelancers within the FinTech portfolio. Build strong relationships with senior leaders across banks, fintechs, technology providers and regulators. Support social and audience engagement activity for the FinTech brand.
- Minimum of four web articles per day (two original and two syndicated).
- One to two front-of-book magazine features per week.
- One commercial profile or campaign feature per week.
- Successful delivery of FinTech content across live events, video and audio formats.
- Proven experience in business, financial services or technology publishing.
- Strong understanding of the global FinTech ecosystem and emerging industry trends.
- Demonstrated experience researching, interviewing and producing executive-level thought leadership.
- Experience producing digital, broadcast or live event content.
- Strong understanding of SEO, digital distribution and multi-platform storytelling.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; experience using tools such as Canva, Figma and monday.com is advantageous.
- Highly organised, proactive and delivery-focused.
