As BizClik continues to grow, maintaining strong credit control, accurate financial records and healthy cash flow is critical to the business. The Credit Control & Finance Apprentice role exists to develop a future finance professional while supporting the day-to-day operations of the Finance team. This is a developmental role, combining practical, on-the-job experience with a formal apprenticeship qualification. The role is designed to build strong foundations in finance, credit control and commercial awareness, with structured support, training and clear progression opportunities.
What You’ll Be Learning and Supporting
- Credit Control
- Learn how to monitor customer accounts and outstanding invoices
- Support credit control activities, including chasing overdue payments under guidance
- Understand credit terms, payment processes and escalation procedures
- Develop professional communication skills when liaising with internal teams and customers
- Finance Administration
- Support the creation and issuing of sales invoices
- Learn how to reconcile payments and update finance systems accurately
- Maintain organised financial records and documentation
- Support month-end and routine finance processes
- Systems, Accuracy and Process
- Learn to use finance systems and tools confidently and correctly
- Follow established finance processes and controls
- Develop strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Support continuous improvement of finance processes and documentation
- Apprenticeship Learning and Development
- Complete a recognised Finance / Accounting apprenticeship qualification
- Attend off-the-job training as required by the apprenticeship programme
- Apply learning directly to real business tasks
- Work towards agreed learning objectives with support from your manager and training provider
