We’re looking for an ambitious and data‑led Marketing Director to lead BizClik’s marketing strategy across our entire media and events portfolio. Reporting into the Chief Data Officer, you’ll lead a high‑performing marketing team covering PR, Brand Marketing, Demand Generation, and Delegate Acquisition, ensuring every campaign drives measurable commercial growth and brand engagement. This is a hands‑on Management role, ideal for someone who combines strategic thinking with creative execution and thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership
- Develop and deliver BizClik’s integrated marketing strategy, aligned with group and divisional goals.
- Lead and inspire the marketing team across PR, Brand Marketing, Demand Generation, and Delegate Acquisition.
- Partner with the Chief Data Officer to ensure all activity is data‑informed, insight‑driven, and performance‑measured.
- Collaborate with the Chief Brand Officer to maintain brand consistency, presentation quality, and governance across all channels.
- Translate business objectives into actionable plans and measurable results.
- Champion BizClik’s position as the world’s leading B2B media ecosystem.
- Brand & PR
- Oversee BizClik’s brand presence across all verticals, ensuring a consistent and distinctive tone of voice.
- Manage all PR and communications, driving positive visibility across trade and mainstream media.
- Maintain brand governance in collaboration with the Chief Brand Officer, ensuring all design, tone, and messaging align with BizClik’s identity.
- Ensure that every campaign strengthens the BizClik brand, reinforces our credibility, and supports audience growth.
- Demand Generation
- Lead end‑to‑end campaign strategy to drive lead generation for both media and events.
- Work with data and campaign teams to optimise performance across email, SEO, PPC, social, and digital channels.
- Build lead nurture workflows and automated campaigns that convert across the full funnel.
- Partner with Sales and Editorial to align messaging, targeting and engagement.
- Delegate Acquisition and Event Marketing
- Own BizClik’s delegate marketing strategy, leading the Delegate Sales team to drive paid ticket conversions.
- Develop multi‑channel event campaigns that maximise attendance and engagement.
- Analyse campaign data to continuously improve conversion rates and delegate ROI.
- Collaborate with the Broadcast and Production teams to maximise exposure across LIVEx and digital platforms.
- Team Development
- Manage, mentor, and grow the marketing team across multiple disciplines.
- Build a performance culture centred on creativity, accountability and commercial impact.
- Ensure cross‑department collaboration with Sales, Editorial, and Data to deliver integrated campaigns.
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience as a Marketing Director or Head of Marketing in a media, publishing, or events environment.
- Deep understanding of brand marketing, PR, demand generation, and digital acquisition strategies.
- Strong grasp of data analytics and performance marketing, including CRM automation and campaign reporting.
- Confident leading creative and commercial teams simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Experience using tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Google Analytics, and Monday.com.
