Why This Role Exists
BizClik’s commercial growth is driven by audience credibility, visibility and partnerships. The Commercial Marketing Lead role exists to turn each portfolio into a high-performing commercial growth engine, supporting sales conversations, strengthening market positioning and generating partner demand. Each Marketing Lead owns their portfolio end-to-end, ensuring consistent PR, media partnerships, social promotion and commercial outreach aligned to BizClik’s events, awards and magazine products. This is a commercial marketing role, not a purely brand or content role. Success is measured by outcomes, not activity.
Purpose of the Role
To drive new business opportunities by building audience reach, market credibility and partner demand across assigned BizClik portfolios. This role exists to:
- Enable and support sales conversations
- Create consistent external visibility across PR, media and social
- Strengthen BizClik’s authority within each sector
- Monetise partnerships, agencies and relationships
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Media and PartnershipsYou will identify, research and secure media partnerships across your portfolio, including industry events, awards and associations. You will ensure each partnership has clear deliverables, internal ownership and commercial relevance, and that performance is reviewed post-delivery.
PR and CommunicationsYou will plan, write and distribute press releases and announcements covering editorial interviews, events, awards, speaker announcements and business updates. You will maintain a consistent PR cadence and ensure messaging aligns with BizClik’s commercial narrative.
Social and Owned ContentYou will oversee and execute social promotion across all portfolio solutions, including events, awards and thought leadership. Content must support credibility, partner attraction and sales enablement rather than vanity metrics.
Agency and New Business OutreachYou will build and maintain relationships with PR agencies, media buying agencies and sponsorship partners. You will run proactive outreach campaigns, manage follow-ups and position BizClik solutions commercially.
Internal CollaborationYou will work closely with Events, Editorial and Sales teams to align on priorities, deliverables and timelines, ensuring dependencies are clear and execution is joined-up.
Success Measures
This role is measured on:
- Partner and agency conversations generated
- Inbound interest from PR and social activity
- Media partnerships secured
- Sales-supported commercial opportunities
- Consistency of portfolio visibility
