The Commercial Salesforce Lead role exists to ensure Salesforce is a commercial growth engine, not just a system of record.
This role exists to:
- Own and evolve Salesforce to support revenue growth at scale
- Bring structure, confidence and clarity to commercial data
- Enable faster, smarter decision‑making across Sales, Campaigns and Events
- Reduce manual work and reactive reporting through automation and insight
You will directly influence how pipeline, revenue, forecasting and performance are understood and improved across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Salesforce Ownership and Commercial Enablement- Act as the senior owner of Salesforce across the business
- Design, configure and optimise Salesforce to reflect commercial workflows
- Ensure Salesforce supports sponsorship, delegate sales, campaigns and partnerships
- Own system enhancements, releases and ongoing improvements
- Build and maintain Salesforce dashboards and reports for leadership and teams
- Provide clear visibility of pipeline health, revenue performance and forecasting
- Partner with Data and Finance to ensure Salesforce is the trusted source of commercial truth
- Own Salesforce data models, fields and definitions
- Maintain high standards of data accuracy, completeness and consistency
- Document processes, definitions and usage standards
- Manage access controls and GDPR‑compliant data handling
- Identify and implement automation to reduce manual effort and friction
- Build flows, validation rules and scalable processes
- Improve adoption through simple, well‑designed user experiences
- Work closely with Sales, Campaigns, Marketing, Events, Finance and Leadership
- Translate commercial needs into practical Salesforce solutions
- Train and support users to drive confidence and consistency
- Act as a trusted commercial partner, not just a system administrator

Essential- Extensive hands‑on experience with Salesforce administration and optimisation
- Strong understanding of commercial pipelines, revenue and performance metrics
- Experience building dashboards and reports for senior stakeholders
- High attention to detail and strong data discipline
- Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non‑technical audiences
- Salesforce certifications (Admin, Advanced Admin, Sales Cloud or similar)
- Experience in media, events, B2B or fast‑growth environments
- Exposure to integrations, automation or analytics tools
- Interest in AI, optimisation and scalable systems
