An experienced editorial professional with a strong eye for storytelling, quality, and brand tone, the Editor supports the Editor-in-Chief and team in delivering timely, accurate, and engaging content across all BizClik Media platforms. Job Requirements
A well-rounded and experienced editorial professional with an expert eye for storytelling, quality control and brand tone, the Editor is responsible for assisting the Editor-in-Chief and wider team with the timely, accurate and engaging production of magazine, digital and commercial content across all of BizClik Media’s content platforms. They will lead and contribute to the production of company reports, front-of-book/feature magazine content, SEO-friendly digital articles and branded campaigns. This role requires strategic oversight and hands-on execution, supporting the editing, proofing and commissioning of content in alignment with editorial, commercial and industry objectives.
Job Responsibilities
- Plan, assign and write high-quality front of book, features and thought leadership content for BizClik’s digital magazines.
- Lead the layout and editorial quality control of assigned publications.
- Commission and edit articles from freelancers, internal writers and contributors.
- Ensure alignment with each title’s tone, structure and commercial priorities.
- Work with the design team to manage content to layout flow.
Daily Web Content
- Write and publish regular digital articles, updates, features and breaking industry news.
- Source, pitch and draft timely SEO-aligned web content across BizClik’s sectors.
- Maintain and manage a publishing calendar to support consistent output.
- Monitor site analytics to track performance and iterate content strategy.
Commercial Content – Profiles and Campaigns
- Collaborate with Sales and Production teams to deliver client content including:
- Branded company profiles
- Interview based thought leadership features
- Campaign based spotlight articles
- Ensure commercial content meets quality, tone and storytelling standards while respecting the brand-client balance.
- Proof and polish client content before design handoff and final publication.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage editorial workflows to ensure on time delivery of assigned titles.
- Write and research company profiles, thought leadership and industry articles.
- Attend industry events and briefings to build insight and contacts.
- Adhere to editorial and SEO guidelines set by the Group Content Director.
- Develop sector expertise and maintain relationships with key industry leaders.
- Manage and contribute to social media and audience engagement strategies.
- Deputise for other Editors as needed.
KPIs
- Four web articles per day, including two unique and two syndicated.
Other Responsibilities
- Uphold professional standards when representing BizClik in-person or online.
- Maintain confidentiality and data protection per company policy.
- Attend team meetings, strategy sessions and training.
- Evaluate junior staff and offer mentoring and development support.
- Champion innovation, collaboration and continuous editorial improvement.
Qualifications and Experience
- Demonstrated professional experience in publishing, journalism or content creation.
- Clear understanding of writing for digital audiences, including SEO principles.
- Proven editorial or content writing experience across digital and/or print platforms.
- Confident researching, interviewing and producing thought-leadership or business-focused content.
Communication and Technical Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong editing and proofreading ability with high attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Able to manage deadlines, workloads and cross-functional collaboration.
- Familiar with tools such as Canva, Figma or Monday.com.
