As the Advertising, Media & Sponsorship Director for our media brands, you’ll be tasked with helping to significantly grow our global B2B revenues from clients looking to target these sectors with their marketing, media and events sponsorships budgets. This is a senior, front line sales role dealing with some of the world's biggest companies and their agencies, selling a suite of sophisticated, industry leading media services that solve our clients' marketing challenges.
You’ll have experience selling complex B2B solutions to large, global clients and ideally have knowledge around media marketing solutions that include content, display advertising, sponsorships, events, email and lead generation campaigns. You’ll understand that relevant audiences, engagement metrics and data play a part in making these campaigns a success as well as your professional, persuasive and driven personality.
You’ll be managing existing relationships on a $1M+ portfolio, and building new trusted relationships with CMOs on Strategy, Media Planning and Media Buying. You’ll also develop and grow existing and new relationships with Media agency teams across the globe looking to target our specialist audiences in these sectors. We are looking for these two roles to work with clients in the Asia-Pacific region.
You’ll also have proven experience identifying and developing new business relationships and channels with target clients at the most senior level. You’ll be well versed using LinkedIn to help with this and be a confident presenter on screen. We drive strong incoming enquiry levels through our websites and lead generation campaigns so you’re not entirely on your own developing new business.

About the Industries Portfolio: BizClik’s Industries portfolio are all targeted at senior global decision makers across various industries. We provide key industry players with the perfect platform to showcase their brands, develop content syndication plans, webinars, white papers, demand generation as well as a global set of events (In-Person & Virtual).
Building the Industries Book of Business:
- Manage an existing pipeline of spending accounts, enhancing the revenue growth through stronger client & agency relationships.
- Manage the enquiry pipeline from lead to proposal to IO.
- Understand the ‘Sector Strategy’ and help engage in the portfolio plan - weekly, monthly and quarterly.
- Work closely with the management team to deliver on daily tasks, weekly goals and monthly budgets, circa $50k per month.
- Become an influencer within the team, within BizClik and especially within these sectors.
- Represent BizClik Media Group as a leader within your sectors, including occasional travel globally to key industry events.
Core Skills:
- Professional, goal orientated, sales focused.
- Demonstrable experience at building strong, long term business relationships in a B2B environment. Media/Agency/Events/Sponsorship sales experience would be a bonus.
- Strong communicator with good 1-2-1 presentation skills.
- Efficient with LinkedIn and socials. Previous use of LinkedIn Sales Navigator would help.
- Previous use of modern CRM systems and associated skills (we use Salesforce).
- Self Belief, determination and a willingness to develop and grow your business sectors becoming an ambassador for your brands in these markets.
Package: £25 - £35k basic salary based on experience with an industry leading, open ended commission structure. Commission - open ended - we pay 10% commission on all sales and would expect this person to realistically earn circa £50k-£80k p/a in commission on top in their first year. 20 days holiday per year plus bank holidays and a Christmas break of 5-7 days. Regular staff social events. Free refreshments at our offices and Friday breakfasts. Lovely open offices in either Moorgate, London or Central Norwich. Please note that this is an office based role and we’re keen for our sales teams to work closely together. This role could be based at either of the above locations. (Some flexibility may be needed on these hours from time to time to suit an individual client)(Includes bank holidays + Christmas shut down + Your Birthday).
