As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Bitsight, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and generating new qualified sales opportunities within Target Accounts for your regional sales managers. In collaboration with Account Executives, you will determine which accounts need research and prospecting to ensure a steady flow of additional qualified opportunities. Your goal is to provide a superior prospect experience that sets the stage for effective sales follow-up and future product sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Prospect Engagement: Proactively reach out to prospects via telephone and email to educate, qualify, and develop Target Accounts and inbound leads, converting them into sales-ready leads and opportunities.
Account Research: Conduct thorough research on accounts, identify key players, generate interest, and develop accounts to create new opportunities.
Opportunity Management: Distribute opportunities to the appropriate Account Executive (AE) and provide necessary education about the opportunity.
Objection Handling: Effectively manage and overcome prospect objections to maintain the flow of opportunities.
Relationship Building: Establish yourself as a trusted resource and develop strong relationships with prospects.
Lead Management: Update lead scoring and prospect interactions in Salesforce.com to ensure efficient lead management.
Quota Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed qualified opportunity quotas to support territory revenue objectives.
Continuous Improvement: Provide closed-loop feedback to ensure continuous process optimization.
Required Skills and Experience:
Proactive Approach: A self-starter with a proven track record of successful lead follow-up and sales development at multiple executive levels within an organization.
Pre-Call Planning: Strong pre-call planning skills to ensure productive prospect interactions.
Opportunity Qualification: Expertise in opportunity qualification and objection handling.
Call Management: Ability to structure and control calls effectively.
Time Management: Exceptional time and territory management skills.
Sales Achievement: Demonstrated success in achieving measurable inside sales or sales development goals in an automated sales environment, with a strong emphasis on accurate lead data entry and management in our CRM system.
Team Player: Ability to thrive in a high-energy sales team environment and contribute as a team player.
Communication Skills: Excellent phone skills, listening skills, and strong writing skills.
Integrity: Demonstrated highest level of integrity in all business dealings.
Preferred Experience: Sales training,Cold Call experience and Experience with prospecting tools(Linkedin) and CRM systems(salesforce)
Language Requirements:
Excellent proficiency in German and English
Proficiency in Dutch or Itailian is a plus
Education: A 3-year college degree is required.
