This is a high-visibility, high-impact role for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, sales execution, and market leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the senior liaison between Bitsight and Moody’s insurance business, helping to define and execute the joint go-to-market motion for cyber insurance.
- Lead joint sales efforts with Moody’s field teams to introduce Bitsight capabilities into existing and new insurance customer accounts.
- Own the insurance pipeline
- Build and scale an enablement program that equips Moody’s sellers to identify and qualify use cases for Bitsight data within underwriting, exposure management, and portfolio optimization.
- Act as a subject matter expert on Bitsight’s insurance offerings and translate complex technical capabilities into business outcomes.
- Engage directly with executive stakeholders at insurers, reinsurers, and brokers to understand evolving cyber needs and shape solutions accordingly.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and strategy teams to inform roadmap and develop feedback loops from the field.
- Track performance against key growth metrics and provide strategic recommendations to Bitsight’s Head of Partnerships and Insurance
- Own Bitsight’s new and expansion target in the insurance segment
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise sales, business development, or partner enablement roles, ideally within cyber insurance or risk analytics.
- Deep understanding of the insurance value chain and key functions (e.g., underwriting, risk modeling, reinsurance, exposure management).
- Demonstrated success launching or scaling new products or data solutions into insurance clients or partnerships.
- Experience managing large, cross-functional commercial programs across organizational boundaries.
- Excellent executive presence and communication skills; able to build trust with senior stakeholders in both technical and business domains.
- Comfortable navigating matrixed environments and driving alignment between separate but strategically connected businesses.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
What You Bring
- Industry Expertise: A deep understanding of the cyber insurance ecosystem and strong existing relationships with key insurers, reinsurers, and brokers.
- Sales Leadership: Proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets through solution selling and customer-centric value positioning.
- Cross-Organizational Influence: Ability to lead without authority and influence stakeholders across both Bitsight and Moody’s to drive shared success.
- Strategic Execution: A program-builder’s mindset: structured, outcomes-driven, and focused on scale.
- Customer Obsession: Relentless focus on understanding and solving the customer’s most pressing cyber risk challenges.
Why This Role Matters
Cyber risk is rapidly becoming one of the largest threats—and opportunities—for the global insurance industry. Bitsight, in partnership with Moody’s, is uniquely positioned to lead the market in delivering the data, analytics, and insights insurers need to underwrite and manage this evolving risk.
