We are looking for an entry-level Risk Monitoring Analyst to support day-to-day risk oversight and monitoring activities. This role is well suited for someone early in their career who is detail-oriented, analytical, and interested in markets, trading systems, or operational risk. You will work remotely as part of a small team responsible for monitoring risk metrics, identifying anomalies, and escalating issues when required. Candidates are expected to work primarily within European business hours.
Your Day-to-Day
- Monitor real-time and historical risk metrics and dashboards
- Track trading activity and identify unusual behaviour or limit breaches
- Perform daily risk checks and basic analysis across accounts
- Investigate and document risk events, alerts, or data anomalies
- Escalate issues clearly and promptly to senior team members
- Assist with maintaining and improving risk monitoring tools and processes
- Produce simple reports and summaries for internal stakeholders
What You Bring to the Table
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative, technical, or finance-related field
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow defined processes
- Basic understanding of financial markets, trading, or risk concepts
- Comfortable working with data (basic SQL or Python is a plus)
- Clear written communication skills
