Since 2015, Bites Tours have been leading food tours around cities in Asia and Europe. We specialize in food tours, and as such, we only hire team members who will share this love and passion for food and the people that make it. Our tours champion the local food heroes of the cities we explore, taking travellers straight to the most authentic eating experiences. Led by proud locals, taking a Bites Tour is like being shown the hidden secrets of a city by your new local friend.

We are looking for reliable and friendly food lovers who would love to lead our small group food tours around London. Reliability is a non-negotiable for this role. We work hard to keep our customer reviews at the top of the pile and won’t accept any team members who will let the rest of the team down.

Job Requirements:

  • You are from London or have lived here for at least 2 years.
  • You are up for a challenge and have high standards.
  • You must be curious and willing to learn.
  • Ability to accept constructive feedback is a must.
  • You are an approachable person who can show empathy to people from all walks of life.
  • You are able to think quickly and problem solve.
  • You are reliable and an excellent timekeeper.
  • You are a great communicator and love to share stories.

  • You have a sense of humour and can read people reasonably well.
  • You can follow a flexible work schedule.
  • You have availability to work at least 2 Fridays and Saturdays per month.
  • You live to eat; you don’t eat to live.

Your job will entail:

  • Leading our small group, 3-hour food tours.
  • Responsible for leading your group on our pre-determined route through an area of London.
  • Telling stories and sharing interesting facts along the way.
  • Answering questions and giving recommendations about London.
  • Confidently leading the group and speaking in a loud enough voice for everyone to hear and understand you.
  • Making sure all the tour vendors are aware you are coming on the day and other tour prep.
  • Keeping good relationships with our vendors.
  • Quality control of our tours.
  • Opportunities to help with our social media as well as other marketing and business development projects.
  • Helping create alternative routings for private tours, planning logistics, and speaking to restaurants and bars.
